Harris Jayaraj has done it for Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. He has composed music for a song penned by veteran lyricist Vaali about Karunanidhi, which will be presented at the mega felicitation function for the octogenarian organised by the Tamil film industry on February 6 in Chennai.

The song ‘Va Va Thalaiva…’ is sung by Unni Menon, Tippu, Haricharan, Devan, Vijayagopal, Chinmayi, Charulatha Mani, Madhumitha, Divya, Neha, Nathisha.

Harris is extremely happy and thrilled to have composed tunes for a song that heaps laurels on Chief Minister. “Kalaignar has done a lot of good things for the welfare of industry as well technicians. I am proud to tune a song heaping laurels on him,” he says.

The felicitation function at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium will be attended by top artistes including Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Sarath Kumar and host of others.

It is said that Rajini and Kamal among others would appear on stage while the song is presented.
